FULL ITINERARY
Your tour begins with a pick-up from your cruise port and a scenic journey to the countryside of Hoi An. Upon arrival, you'll receive a warm welcome from a friendly farming family who will greet you with rice tea, marking the start of your immersive farmer lifestyle experience. Get ready for an enjoyable experience, in which you wear a traditional farming shirt and take part in some fieldwork with a local farmer that includes plowing soil, rake and sowing. After your time in the fields, return to the farmhouse to participate in the process of preparing white cooking rice in the kitchen. Learn the steps involved, from grinding paddy in a husking mill to pounding and sifting the rice. Experience an authentic tradition by making traditional rice milk and cooking rice cakes.
You'll also have the opportunity to ride a buffalo and indulge in a refreshing massage and foot herb-soaking experience.
Following these activities, enjoy a delicious lunch at the farmhouse featuring local specialties such as fresh and fried spring rolls, Banh Xeo (a local pancake), steamed rice, fish, soup, and seasonal fruits. After lunch, bid farewell to your farm hosts and proceed to explore the ancient town of Hoi An. Discover its magnificent UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Chinese assembly halls, the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, and visit Hoi An Museum. Enjoy free time for shopping at the numerous boutique shops. At the end of your local adventure you will board your transfer back your ship at the end of afternoon.
