Located about 10 km way from the Hanoi, on the bank of mighty Red River, Dong Ngac Village (also known as Ke Ve Village) is worth to pay a visit where you have opportunity to explore the well-preserved traces of its past that separate it from the hustling and bustling daily life of Hanoians. The village is famous for being the land of many high-ranking mandarins during the feudal period in Vietnam. Besides, the Dong Ngac Cultural Village has been also famous site due to its huge number of communal houses which is a dignified place where the village’s most important events occurs. The communal house provides a wide range of hundreds- years-old ancient relics such as a set of old paintings from the Le Dynasty (1427 – 1788) which describe the bumper harvests and daily life of local people.
